We will be meeting two times a month (one in the classroom and one in the Lab) discussing a topic that involves space and science. We will have a meeting that starts after school that goes for about an hour.
The class time will start by having a short activity, then a lab, and a time for students to share out what they learned.
At times there will be a guest speaker to come in and talk to our students.
Teacher and Parent Information
Teachers and parents are more than welcome to join in on our club. If you know anyone who would be able to be a guest speaker please let Mr. Shoemaker know.
When we have a lab, I am asking you to bring your child and stay with them since we will be off campus. The lab time willl be after dark since that is when we will have access to an observatory.
What I would like to do to is to having a lab once a month at either the Schoonover Observatory or the Ohio State Lima Observatory. Dates to come later.
